Please join us for a conversation with Mullissa Willette, a first-term CalPERS Board of Administration member. Willette will be in conversation with Brian Judge, research director of the Berkeley Program on Finance and Democracy at BESI. She’ll offer an insider’s perspective on how the nation’s largest public pension fund is governed and the key issues shaping its future. Following her conversation with Judge, Willette will take audience questions.
About the speaker
Mullissa Willette is serving her first term on the CalPERS Board of Administration as an elected representative of public agency members. An estate administrator with the County of Santa Clara, she is the president of Service Employees International Union 521 and has served on multiple committees and commissions. Willette has a bachelor of management in public administration from Southern New Hampshire University. She also holds certifications in public pension investment management from UC Berkeley and advanced assessment analysis from the California State Board of Equalization.
