In June 2023, UC Berkeley hosted the CAPE Summer Academy, which introduces the Consortium on the American Political Economy's framework to graduate students and junior faculty.

On April 3, 2023, BESI co-sponsored a panel featuring experts explaining aspects of the global ecosystem of tax avoidance, including how corporations and individuals move across multiple legal jurisdictions to maintain wealth and avoid paying taxes.
